We think we may have some strange things happening.
We have a transport company bringing us New Pt's with state healthcare. We don't have a chance to meet the Pt's. When we call the Dr. office it seems legit but we always talk to the same individual on the phone. We google mapped the office to get a street view of the office (make sure it exists). Also the kicker being that these drugs are expensive Aricept, Advair, and others all with 3 month supply. Is there some sort of site we can check Dr's for previous issues regarding F.W.A. We are in Glendale (Fraud capital), Dr. is in Van Nuys, and Pt lives in El Monte. A Triangle of locations which has happened before when someone has brought in a fake narcotic slip.

I would contact the state healthcare/medicaid dept.. they should have a fraud/abuse dept.. My money is that you will get the brush off.. Calf is running short of money and does not have the staffing to check out the complaint.
Aren't you violating OBRA 90 by not consulting the pt?
Do you have a HIPAA release, from the pt, to give their medication to this person?
Have you considered doing a follow up call to these pts? let me guess .. no phone numbers for any of these patients! Are you given a bogus address for the patients?
All else fails .. contact the local TV/newspaper to investigate
IMO... if you don't something now ... your pharmacy will end up as part of fraud/abuse investigation.. when it all hits the fan...
