I started pharmacy school at Columbia University in the late 1960's but soon took a 3+ year hiatus to enjoy the sights and sounds of Viet Nam. Upon return I continued my pharmacy education at Brooklyn College of Pharmacy and then graduated in 1977 from St. John's University College of Pharmacy. With the security of always having my pharmacy license to fall back upon, I tried my hand at both pharmaceutical and orthopedic sales. I finally settled into a career in Pharmaceutical manufacturing with Goldline (later Zenith-Goldline) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I then moved to Toledo, Ohio to work as the Senior Director of Operations for Omnicare's pharmaceutical repackaging division. After doing that for about 10 years, I decided to once again return to my roots as a retail pharmacist and have been working with a great bunch of professionals at Wal-Mart for the last 2 years.
