I graduated from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in 1973 and practiced Pharmacy full-time in retail settings in Dallas, TX from 1973 until September of 1976, when I started attending law school at the SMU School of Law in Dallas. During law school, I practiced retail pharmacy part-time until I graduated from law school in 1979, at which time I commenced my full-time practice of law.

Since then, my legal practice has been predominantly business litigation, combined with some health care representation, including physicians, pharmacists, and healthcare entities.
