I grew up in the San Fernando Valley of Southern California. I went to the UOP, School of Pharmacy, but returned home after graduating. Didn't take the State Boards til January and Started looking for work in April of 1984. Happened to return to UOP for the commencement ceremonies in May and while visiting the School of Pharmacy, I happened to see a job posting for Kaiser Permanente in Vallejo.
