Recently, a family member called me at my pharmacy and asked me for help in obtaining a cough syrup. She was developing an infection along with a terrible cough. It had been going on for days and it was not getting any better. She had an appointment with her doctor and asked if I could bring her something to help with the cough.More »

Recently, a patient came to our drop-off window and presented us with 5 prescriptions. She was bringing them to us for her boyfriend, who has cancer. I know both of them and what makes this interesting is her experience when she went to a different pharmacy the day before she came to our location. The pharmacy was closer to her home and she wanted to help out her boyfriend on the same day when they left the doctor's office.More »

I was on my way to the warehouse office when she reached out and stopped me.

"Excuse me, I want to thank you."

It is always nice to get a compliment or a thank you, but this time, I did not know what it was for. She looked like the average woman shopper, but she had a look of pride in her appearance.
