Recently, a patient came to our drop-off window and presented us with 5 prescriptions. She was bringing them to us for her boyfriend, who has cancer. I know both of them and what makes this interesting is her experience when she went to a different pharmacy the day before she came to our location. I was on my way to the warehouse office when she reached out and stopped me.

It is always nice to get a compliment or a thank you, but this time, I did not know what it was for. She looked like the average woman shopper, but she had a look of pride in her appearance.
